Wire drawings

There really is too much for me to say about this piece, especially as it is one under development, even though it was the mid term assignment for NYCAMS. I'm going to edit this post later one I get a document written up about the piece itself and the ideas behind it. What you need to know for now is that I was basically trying to create a three dimensional work that appeared in two dimensions. Or basically something that resembled a black line drwing on the walls surrounding the piece.

Comments are always appriciated and encouraged!

Title: Untitled (Wrought)

About this tree and about why I haven't updated at all...I decided to construct a tree for the final show. The tree as its own object, has its own personal connotations that exist strictly for it. However, the Tree is part of an overall idea that I am currently working through, and will be appearing in other works and in my senior (show) work. Lets just see how this goes.
As for updating, I'm lazy and forgetful, bad combination however, this blog may now become my art blog, while my other one will be strictly for the graphic novel and comicing work I do.

Side Note: Yes, that is the title up at the top of this entry, Untitled (Wrought)

don't over look it because it ended up being a pun, there is a reason.

February

So as it stands, I've been in NYC for about three weeks now. So much has happened, and I feel like I haven't had the time to properly sit and write out an entry, but I'll be writing these out as I have time. So here we go! The loose version is, I arrived alright, didn't meet my room mate till the second day, and so far our group has been getting alon really well, which is exciting! Among our many activities, we've spent a lot of time in larger groups walking and seeing the city for what it is, and I recomend a walk over the Brooklyn Bridge if you haven't done that yet. Saw some amazing shows so far, and everyone should deffinately check out Caroline Smith and the Good Night Sleeps. On valentines day Josh's fience Annie decied we should hand out flowers in times square, and that was just great, one of the best V-days ever.

As far as art goes, critique has been going well, though I still do not have a focus yet as far as ideas, but I'm heading in a direction and that seems good to me. Heres a look at whats been accomplished so far:

Comments would be greatly appreciated, or questions as well, any input or feed back would be nice. Hopefully I'll be able to update again soon.
